Our goal at Goodmakers Guild is to restory culture.

To do that, we’ve assembled a community of creators, storytellers, consultants, and patrons who aren’t satisfied with cultural commentary alone, but want to do what C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien did generations ago to contribute to cultural renewal:

Tell a better story.

JONAH & THE WORM

A Graphic Novel by John Mark McMillan

Goodmakers Guild is supporting John Mark in the creation of a 150-page, full-color, hand-drawn graphic novel that reimagines the biblical story of Jonah as a mythological fantasy set in the Land of the Rising Sun and helps readers see this strange, complex, timeless story with new eyes.

Goodmakers Guild + JONAH & THE WORM

Founder of GOODMAKERS GUILD Paul Anleitner explains how we’re moving John Mark’s dream toward becoming a tangible reality through our collaborative community and non-profit program.

Cultural Renewal Through True Patronage

From JONAH & THE WORM to future projects supported by Goodmakers Guild, we creating the stories that will renew culture.

To make good and beautiful things, we must recover a vision of true patronage.

Through Dialect Foundation, we have a tax-deductible crowdfuding and patronage platform for funding true, good, and beautiful stories and art.

We crowdfund through PROSPECT and we secure funds that match these fundraising efforts from patrons with “donor advised funds” who wish to contribute to our Cultural Renewal Fund.
